Knit Sweater + Hot Shorts Set

Body hugging knit sweater set, with henley style fitted sweater and matching HOT SHORTS.

It's already a treat to find a vintage set that is complete, but this set was extra exciting to me because we have hot shorts as the bottoms separate, vs the usual skirt or flared pants. There's also the fun incongruity of a sweater in a knit fabric, made into shorts, or in this case hot shorts. But any sort of hot short made of a knit fabric, for me, recalls Betsey Johnson Alley Cat designs and how fun shorts can be layered over tights or paired with thigh high knit stockings. But I digress. 

The sweater set includes a long sleeve sweater with henley button collar neckline and wide cable knit cuffs at each sleeve. The hot shorts are body hugging with an elastic waist band (with plenty of stretch) and matching cable banding along the leg opening.

The set is unlined, and does not have the original fabric content tag attached. The set feels like it may have wool fibers in it, so please steer clear of this set if you have wool texture or sensitivity issues.
