Minimalist Black Structured Dress
Brand Embers /Cinders
Dress is a sleeveless style with flat straps and a straight neckline. Dress has double darted, beautifully structured and tailored bodice, with a true waist.
The hips of the dress have a pleat on either side that creates a voluminous, yet structured effect through the skirt. The front of the skirt has a tulip shape in a midi length. While the back of the skirt feature large, crisp vertical box pleats.
Dress is made of a heavy black fabric with very small horizontal striations in it. Very likely faille.
This dress came from a collection of a woman with a large number custom-made items and this dress also fits that bill.
Dress has a metal back zipper. The previously mentioned box pleats on the back of the skirt leave the impression of a bustle in the back created by layers of pleats.
Dress is in fantastic vintage condition.
