Forest Nymphs Print Maxi Dress
Brand Embers / Cinders
Crazy good novelty print alert!
This festival-worthy late 60s-70s novelty print grabs attention where ever it goes.
First, let's tackle the details on the cut and style of this doozy before I take a deep dive into the particulars of the print. Dress has v-neckline, with mild puff sleeve and big balloon sleeves, with elastic cuffs at each wrist. The bodice has an empire waist and a fitted true waist.
The skirt floats away from the body at the hip and flares into a trumpet skirt to the hem, in a maxi length. An attached tie style belt affixes at the back. The dress has a center back nylon coil zipper.
Now, for this insane print, in shades of tan, orange, white, light blue and true blue. With psychedelic orange tree tops and tufts of light blue and white scalloped clouds. Topless forest nymphs feature prominently in this wild landscape. One gazes out with her head haloed in blue and orange flowers, while the other is in profile, a flower over left ear. Flower petals cover their nipples. Woodland nymphs in a hallucinatory forest, topless with abandon, but tastefully obscuring their nips. This print has it all.
