Stavropolous Cape - Winter White with Silver Sequin Detail
Here we have a jaw-dropping George Stavropoulos cape in winter white.
It was a massive undertaking to score this cape and I can't help but wonder if somewhere else lurking in that same closet from whence it came, there wasn't a coordinating Stavropoulos dress! But enough torturing myself with speculation, back to the lecture at hand...
The cape is beautifully structured with a high neck and tightly fitted shoulders. Two simple slits in the front are the armholes.
Silver sequins and tube beads in the shape of leaves decorate the tops of the shoulder and the neck, shimmering in juxtaposition against the muted off-white texture of the coat.
The back of the cape features a single pleat running down the exact center of the back. So chic.
Cape is unlined, and meant to be layered. It does not feature any zippers, closures, hook and eye or pockets. Clean, understated, beautiful.
